NEW TECHNOLOGY
For the first time, we have adopted a new technology, "shading mold," that clearly shows the detail lines.
By emphasizing the shadows of the detail lines, the workmanship is dense despite being a large model.
GIMMICK
The scene of removing the R2-D2 sheet, the scene of discharging, and the scene of thumbs up with a burner, which were impressive in the play, can be reproduced with various parts. Uses original new technology "shading mold"
For the first time, a new shading mold *technology, unique to the Bandai Hobby Division, has been adopted to clearly show the detail line. By emphasizing the shadows of the detail lines, the workmanship is dense despite being a large model.
What is the new technology "shading mold"?
It is a technology that makes the shadow of the mold (groove) stand out by applying special processing to the concave mold (recessed groove) for expressing joints etc. with a plastic model. By emphasizing the concave mold that was not conspicuous with the conventional model engraving line, a clearer expression was made possible. Newly developed by Bandai Co., Ltd. (patent pending).
